Lopez, the all-time leading scorer in Nets history with 10,444 points over nine seasons, was dealt to the Lakers in the 2017 trade that brought since-departed guard D’Angelo Russell to Brooklyn.

The 7-footer averaged 11.4 points and 7.4 rebounds in the seven games against his former team, including 19 with eight boards in 46 minutes Saturday night.

The Celtics had accused Irving – who played two seasons in Boston before signing with the Nets in 2019 — of disrespect by stepping on their leprechaun logo at TD Garden following Brooklyn’s Game 4 win during the opening round.
